10 recipients of the ACC Governor for Gulf States Travel Grant will get the chance to obtain free registration and AED 2000 stipend to attend the 10th ECS Conference together with the ACC Middle East Conference 2019.
Travel Grant Information
- 10 recipients will receive the Travel Grant to attend the 10th ECS Conference together with the ACC Middle East Conference 2019.
- AED 2000 (equivalent to USD 545) will be provided to each recipient.
- Free registration to attend the conference will be provided.
Travel Grant Application
- Applications are now open until August 15, 2019 18:00 (+4 GMT Dubai Time).
- The Committee will make its independent selection by the first week of September 2019.
- A letter of support from the candidate’s program director is required during the application process.
- 10 grant recipients will be now notified by September 2019.
- Grants will be provided after showing the attendance certificate during the last day of the conference.
Travel Grant Eligiblity
- Citizens or residents of the GCC only.
- Fellows and physicians in training in accredited cardiology training programs in the Gulf.
- The following criteria will be considered during the selection process to ensure diversity and milestones: Age, Country, Experience, Speciality,
Number of publications indexed in the last 5 years, etc.
Travel Grant Conditions
- The grant is intended for the 10th ECS Conference together with the ACC Middle East Conference 2019 only.
- Recipients should be registered for the In-training Fellow Examination for details please visit: http://ecs-acc.com/intrainingexam/
- In case of absence due to illness, force majeure or other unavoidable circumstances, the grant award would be deemed lost and the candidate asked to explain his/her absence.
- All paperwork (visa, study leave, etc…) remains the responsibility of the applicant.
- Applicants are eligible for one source of funding only. If alternative funds are available on top of the Travel Grant applicants must notify the Committee immediately.
